Reign Fastpitch was originally formed in Spring 2016 as a 10U team in the Thurston County Fastpitch Association (TCFA). TCFA is a local recreational league located in Thurston County Washington. As the skill level improved, TCFA put together an All Star team (made up of many Reign players) which was coached by our current head coach, Stephen.

After competing that summer as a 12U all star team, the decision was made to play competitive ball. This decision was made easy as this team won all three tournaments they participated in. Beginning in the fall of 2019, Reign Fastpitch began competing in local tournaments as a 14U team.

Origins of our Reign

Reign Fastpitch as remained an independent club since moving out of TCFA. We compete in USSSA, USA, NAFA and Triple Crown tournaments. Most of our competitions take place along the I-5 corridor in Western Washington between Chehalis and the Seattle Area. A couple of times per year, we travel to tournaments outside of Western Washington to cities on the other side of the mountains and in other NW states. For the 2025-26 season, we anticipate playing in two exposure tournaments to allow for players who wish to play in college to play in front of college coaches.

Reign Fastpitch also strives to keep our team fees low to allow for players who cannot pay what larger organizations are charging. Each year we may do some fundraising, especially if we anticipate playing out of state. Reign Fastpitch is registered with Washington Secretary of State as a charitable organization.
